Triathlon New Zealand is the national governing body for the sports of triathlon, duathlon and multisport. Their objective is to support the growth in participation at all levels in the sport and ensure New Zealand continues to win Olympic medals.
Triathlon implemented the ZEUS BASE system over an intensive two month period. ZEUS enables national sports bodies to promote, administer and generate revenue from memberships and events on a nationwide, regional and individual club level. It enables them to support their members, organise sporting events and keep people up-to-date with all aspects of their chosen sport.
Triathlon actively use all modules of the system, including membership management and online event entry. Members can renew membership and register for events using online registration and payment options, and the system allows Triathlon to stay in touch through the website and HTML newsletters.
The ZEUS system runs both their public website and their internal membership database. They have also implemented the system for two clubs, and are planning extending this to other clubs in their organisation this year.
