BikeNZ is the umbrella body embracing all national cycling organisations throughout New Zealand – including BIANZ, BMX NZ, Cycling NZ, Mountain Bike NZ and NZ Schools Cycling Association.
The system enabled BikeNZ to promote, administer and generate revenue from memberships on a nationwide, regional and individual club level. Helping them to support their members, organise sporting events and keep people up-to-date with all aspects of their chosen sport.
BikeNZ was an early adopter of ZEUS BASE system and has benefited from the continual development of the core-system and high level of support Data Torque have provided during the past 3 years..
The membership requirements of BikeNZ are complex. There are over 40 road and track clubs (CNZ), 30 mountain bike clubs (MTBNZ) and 40 BMX clubs (BMX NZ) in New Zealand – each with their own membership criteria, pricing and administration methods. ZEUS BASE proved scalable and flexible enough to rise to the challenge.
All national sports have varying membership criteria. Having a central system capable of supporting multiple membership bases reduces running costs and creates an ideal platform to increase revenue through new and repeat subscriptions.
