New Zealand’s history in the sport of Equestrian only dates back to the 1950s, but in its short life has grown to be one of the country’s most successful sports. With 80,000 riders and 100,000 sport horses, Equestrian teams have won more Olympic medals for New Zealand than all the other sports.
Equestrian were one of the early adopters of the ZEUS BASE system. Equestrian have a strong membership focus to provide accessible, real value to those people who belong to the Equestrian Sports NZ community encouraging participation, volunteering and enjoyment in equestrian sports.
ZEUS enables national sports bodies to promote, administer and generate revenue from memberships and events on a nationwide, regional and individual club level. It enables them to support their members, organise sporting events and keep people up-to-date with all aspects of their chosen sport.
An addition, we added some customised modules to ZEUS to cater for the specifics of Equestrian’s business processes. The ZEUS system tracks horse ownership changes, pedigree and breeding records, and stud farm registrations.
ZEUS has become a mission critical tool for the Equestrian business. All membership records for people and horses are stored in the system, and all member registrations are now processed through the system. ZEUS calculates tracks all of the finances for membership, and this financial data is available to members online, and is electronically transferred to the main accounts system.
