With over 1,700 staff, the Hutt Valley District Health Board (HVDHB) provides medical services to the 135,000 people that live in the Hutt Valley. They needed an effective content management system for the public site, but also a secure intranet to enable confidential documents, policy and procedures to be published and viewable only to authorised users.
Using ZEUS, Data Torque developed an intranet and internet site, with one content management area.
The site features a comprehensive security model that allows different departments within HVDHB to manage their content within their own part of the site. Once articles are submitted for publication, they are automatically routed to the web supervisor for authorisation, before final publication to the website. And all of this happens with just a few clicks.
