TOWER Asset Management Limited is the TOWER Group's asset management specialist and is responsible for managing in excess of NZ$8 billion for trusts, superannuation funds and institutions.
Tower Asset Management develops comprehensive reports for each fund under management from a wide variety of corporate systems - some reports are more than 80 pages long each month. This information has traditionally been provided only in paper-based format.
We developed a web based publication system that enables analysts to compile all the information from various sources (mainframe, spreadsheet, Word documents). The system allows for verification and approval of the individual reports, before assembling them into one pdf document that forms a customised report for each fund by month. Then, at the click of a button, these are published to a secure website.
The system is easy to use for non-technical people, and it is built in a generic fashion that allows compilation of documents from many sources, with appropriate sorting and filtering for correct assembly and granting of permissions to view the documents.
